TKARONTO T-Shirt

The name "Toronto" comes from the Mohawk word 'tkaronto'. This moniker translates to 'where the trees are standing in the water'. 'Boozhoo' means Welcome in Ojibwe, and Turtle Island is what Indigenous people called North America, before it was "America". All together the design says 'Boozhoo, (welcome) from TKARONTO, Turtle island.' similar to a postcard greeting.
